Danny Chaimson is a true musician. The 35-year-old Highland Park native moved from Chicago to L.A., spent eight years touring as a solo artist with the likes of Jem and O.A.R, made appearances on Leno, and had his music featured in the film The Lincoln Lawyer starring Matthew McConaughey.
But, he said, it was time to take a break. “You get older, you get married and have kids, and it gets harder, especially living in a place like L.A.” So he moved back to Chicago – but that doesn’t mean he stopped working. Instead, he founded a group called The Gold Coast All Stars.
